Providence is a Cache Valley city on the east bench directly south of Logan, below the Bear River Range. Settled by Mormon pioneers in 1859, it retains a small historic core around its old rock church and Main Street area.
Housing ranges from older homes in the original town to newer single-family subdivisions climbing the bench with valley views. Its location a few minutes from Utah State University and Logan's employers makes it popular with faculty, staff and families.
