Woods Cross is a small city in south Davis County between Bountiful, West Bountiful and North Salt Lake, with Interstate 15 and Legacy Parkway running through it. A FrontRunner station on the west side links it to Salt Lake City and Ogden.

Housing includes established single-family homes east of the freeway, newer townhomes and apartments near the FrontRunner station and some older properties on larger lots. Industrial areas and the refinery corridor lie to the west, and downtown Salt Lake City is roughly a 15-minute drive.
